About me
Mayo is the head of design at Reduct, where he works to build an innovative product for working with audio and video. This gives people the tools that let them tell powerful stories and advocate for their clients - all with the ease and familiarity of text. He strives to make the complex simple, and help people leverage the power of technology for good.
A researcher and designer by background, he has worked in the private sector as a creative director and consultant, and brought human centered design and modern technology to the heart of the nation's largest municipal government, the City of New York. His work has been exhibited at New York's Museum of Modern Art, Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile, and Stockholm’s National Center for Architecture and Design, and he regularly guest-lectures, advises, and teaches at academic institutions in North America and Europe.
